Aboriginal Health Service Executive Forum (NSW Health)

Ngaramadhi Space was the founding project of a statewide initiative named Kalgal Burnbona and means “to surround family”. The program was developed through deep engagement with local Aboriginal Elders, who identified a need for accessible, culturally safe, and holistic services delivered within school settings.

The model establishes co-located ‘one-stop shops’ within schools. This means that existing services work together to provide a whole-of-child and whole-of-family approach.

Santuri Rungun is our Paeditrician at YGS and she drives this important project across NSW.

Artwork Foyer Grand Opening

Our school actively collaborates with Aboriginal Community Liaison Officers to strengthen cultural connections and support the educational success of all of our students.

YGS Bridgeclimb Excursion

2025 Reconciliation Week theme, "Bridging Now to Next" encouraged all of us to reflect on past lessons and work towards building a more united and respectful nation for the future.

Yudi Gunyi students were able to acknowledge the important week doing the Burrawa Bridge walk, guided by a First Nations storyteller sharing stories about the local Aboriginal culture, history, and languages.
