Ngaramadhi Space
Ngaramadhi means active listening in Dharawal language. We listen to understand the whole needs of our students and work with specialist educators, NSW Health and Allied Health. We are a wrap around health and education model - which is a one stop shop for support.
Yudi Gunyi School has an onsite community Paediatrician, who specialises in the assessment of complex behavioural and developmental concerns for students. Our Paediatrician coordinates support with the Ngaramadhi Space team and Yudi Gunyi School to provide holistic and student-centred care.
Our Ngaramadhi Space team also includes:
School Counsellor/School Psychologist:
Provides trauma informed counselling and psychometric assessments to support student learning and wellbeing.
Student Support Officer:
Our Student Support Officer supports our students and families with Health & wellbeing referrals, youth mental health services, NDIS applications and support packages.
Occupational Therapist:
Individual and group OT support.
Speech and Language Practitioner:
Assessments and personalised learning and support plan development.
Chaplain:
Social and emotional support for students. We coordinate additional therapeutic supports on a needs basis for example music, play and art therapists.
